Minimalist Product Photography for Hetkinen’s Advertising Campaign

HETKINEN is a Finnish natural fragrance and cosmetics brand known for its clean design and use of pine wood in skincare and lifestyle products — from perfumes to home scents.
About the Product
The Sisu hand wash captures the spirit of Finnish resilience — strength, attitude, and grit. The image had to translate that feeling into light, form, and texture.
Task
Create one high-impact product photo and a clean design layout for an in-store display at Stockmann department store.
The goal was to showcase Sisu soap with minimalist product photography that highlights its unique character and spark interest.
Creative Process
The full production took two weeks from the first message to delivery.
I worked closely with a retoucher to ensure premium quality in every detail.
I ran lighting and foam tests to find the perfect texture.
Developed three minimalist photo concepts and produced six image options with varied bubble compositions.
AI-generated sketches were used to explore and communicate visual ideas early in the process.
Results
The final high-resolution, retouched photo and print-ready layout were used in Stockmann’s store display and across HETKINEN’s social media channels reinforcing the product’s bold, clean identity.
An editable layout file was also provided to support future campaigns and seasonal updates.
